The Fixx - Facing The Wind (Live at Ovation, Henderson, Nevada, 23 November 2007)

The producers of the James Bond franchise frequently express interest to certain bands when it comes to finding the theme song for the next film in the series. In the early eighties, they asked The Fixx to take a crack at writing a Bond theme song and the result was "Facing The Wind". The producers ended up passing on the song (fools!). It ended up as a track on the band's third studio album "Phantoms" which was released in 1984. This video was filmed at Ovation in Henderson, Nevada in 2007. The five member lineup from the band's heyday of 1982-1993 is still together, touring and recording on a regular basis. The band's ninth studio CD will be released sometime in 2009 as will Cy's third solo CD. Never miss them if they are playing live at an event near you! Their live shows are great!!
